Irgendwie schon krass... Mein C64 hatte rund 32kb arbeitsspeicher frei...Ja dann brauchts 32GB beim neuen Rechner.
Mein Tipp: Hol dir ein gebrauchtes Business-Notebook ala Dell Latitude oder Lenovo Thinkpad, Dock dazu und schickt. Selbst mein reichlich betagtes Surface Pro 3 reicht für das tägliche Surfen, sogar ein zwei VMs und Photoshop locker aus.radixdelta hat geschrieben: ↑Do 25. Jedenfalls läuft der PC sehr lange am Tag, braucht viel Strom, heizt den Raum auf und die Leistung wird nur in Ausnahmefällen benötigt. Also soll der nur noch in Ausnahmefällen eingeschaltet werden.

Das habe ich letztens auch schon gedacht, mein erster PC hatte erst 2MB, kurze Zeit später hat mein Vater seinen aufgerüstet und dann hatte ich unglaubliche 4MB RAM! Genug um eine Ramdisk einzurichten und eine komplette Floppy zu kopieren. Das war mega schnell! Sowas musste ich damals eigenständig mit dem DOS-Handbuch hinbekommen, um Windows zu bekommen. Damals war das irgendwie cooler, oder?
Öhm, was bitte benutzt du da für Programme, dass das wirklich knapp wird? Bis Januar hatte ich in meinem Bürorechner auch 'nur' 16GB Arbeitsspeicher und knapp wurde das nur, wenn ich 3D-Finite-Elemente-Simulationen gemacht habe. Das sollte dann nicht unbedingt parallel zu CAD, Firefox mit siebenundzwanzigmillionen offenen Tabs (ich bin auch so einer) und Vektorgrafikprogramm mit Riesenposter und zig hochauflösenden Pixelbildern drin laufen. Ansonsten hält Windows ziemlich viel alten Kram im Speicher und gibt den erst frei, wenn er gebraucht wird. Im Taskmanager sieht das wild aus, ist aber bei genauerem Nachdenken sinnvoll. Oft braucht man Zeug doch noch mal und dann ist es schon im Speicher. Und der wird auch nicht besser, wenn er logisch leer ist. Und Speicher von unbenutzten Firefox-Tabs kann auch gerne auf die Festplatte ausgelagert werden...radixdelta hat geschrieben: ↑Do 25. kompiliere mal einen Kernel darauf.. dann sehen wir mal weiter..Ich habe da auch gewaltigen Hass entwickelt, eine einzelne SanDisk-SD-Karte, die ich mir mal von einem Gutschein im Mediamarkt gekauft habe, hält aber seit 4 Jahren tapfer bei Dauerbeschreibung... Es GIBT die DInger also auch in nicht scheiße.

Oder den Anfang mit einer guten, großen Karte und wenn dann alles läuft, auf die Kleine umkopieren.
Vielleicht macht es Sinn, das Bildzeitungstool h2testw mal wieder anzuwerfen. Das ist zwar kein vollständiger Speichertest, aber es findet die gröbsten Fehler.

Karten kauft man von:
1) Sandisk
2) Samsung
3) Kingston
(In der Reihenfolge)
Ansonsten kauft man die Marken SD Karten auch nicht bei Amazon, denn durch deren vergurktes Lagersystem kanns passieren, dass man nette fakes bekommt.
SD Karten bestell ich immer mit, wenn ich mal PC Teile bestelle.
Ansonsten kann man sich auch was in den Blödmarkt bestellen:

Lohnt aber nicht, die 32GB kostet nur 1-2€ mehr.
